About us
Our Church was formed in 1977 when the congregations of the former Bartlett Street Methodist Church and the Aberdeen Road United Reformed Church (URC) agreed to amalgamate. As a local ecumenical partnership we adhere to both the Methodist and URC traditions - we like to think we take the best of each and preachers (ordained and lay) are drawn from both traditions. We are members of both the URC Southern Synod and the Purley Circuit of the Methodist Church. Our Minister, Reverend Ermal Kirby.

We usually meet for worship on Sunday mornings at 10.30 and are always delighted to welcome visitors to our Church. Our current calendar gives details of our forthcoming services.
We are a small church seeking to spread the Good News throughout our neighbourhood. We have strong links with St. Peter’s Anglican Church and regularly support local charities such as Croydon Nightwatch and Hestia.

We are readily accessible by public transport. South Croydon Station is a short walk away. Buses 60, 119, 312, 403, 405, 407, 412, 466 and 468 all stop close by.
Holy Communion is celebrated once a month using either the Methodist or URC pattern of worship.
